If you get a bad feeling from this picture, what is it you don't like? I think it bring to an emotional level some of the inherent tension about the Christmas holiday for Christians . . .

ReplyDeleteBut.. he does seem a bit out of place there, don't you think? What would he say? What would you want your kids to say? I think I'd feel a bit awkward about the whole " This is what I want for Christmas.." thing.
How about if he looked non-Western, but more Middle Eastern (as He would have) and was not physically attractive (as the Bible says)?
So, I think this picture is just a bit awkward, all the way around.

Is it really Jesus, or someone dressed up as Jesus. If it is really Jesus, I would! If itès someone dressed up as Jesus, no way! Seems a little sacreligious to me!
