wow. it touched me too. reminded me of what i promised myself i'd never forget. of the poverty i saw in southern africa. have i forgotten? not completely, but i'm ashamed to admit that i'm less concerned about poverty than when i got back when i should be more.
Terry, sounds good! I know it will be limited distribution, so we'll have to keep in contact so that we can know when it hits Winnipeg. Perhaps before that we can see Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story" as a warm up? I'm waiting for it hit the cheap theaters as I'm not sure how good it will be. . .
Dayna, it's amazing how quickly we can forget the millions of people living in poverty. Sometimes I find it so overwhelming that I kind of "shut if off" - definitely not a good thing. I need to be constantly challenged with the reality of the world we live in and constantly challenged to act.
