The Tao of Hugging

I'll admit it: I'm not a big hugger. I blame my English ancestry! But when I saw this video it inspired me a bit more and helped me to see the other side a little more clearer. I dedicate this to my friend Lynne who is the most "huggy" person I have ever met. Do you know someone who needs a hug today? Or maybe you need to ask someone for one. Happy Friday!

Okay, that was cool. :)

It reminded me of the time the Gimli elementary school banned hugging; it made international news (a friend of mine, not Paulie, in Australia told me he heard about it down there).

Great video. I'm not a super huggy person, either, especially if I don't think the other person wants one! But there is something healing about a good hug..

I've seen that before. It always makes me think of all the people out there (and there are probably way more than we can imagine) who have no one to hug them. With physical touch being so important to humans, I was just so grateful to see that someone was out there more than willing to hug those who needed it. Hugs can be used to celebrate, to encourage, to comfort, and I for one am a huge fan of hugging. If I had been around for that petition, my name would have been written in big bold letters!

Long Live Hugging!!!!
