I feel like my life has been transformed! Yesterday I went to see the Transformers movie in the theatre, and today Riker got about 10 transformers as birthday presents (Happy Birthday Son!!). During the festivities of the day I have been figuring out how to transform Riker's toys and playing with him and the 'bots. Not only that but my buddy Jay let me borrow his Transformers: The Movie DVD and some Transformers graphic novels.
I'm loving it.
I grew up with Transformers, especially the TV show. I have a have a huge place in my heart for them and when Optimus Prime's life was threatened in the movie, I felt a little sick to my stomach. We took Riker to a park today and after awhile he told me "I miss my Transformers." I totally understood.
Like father, like son.
May Light increase!

If I may make a minor correction, I lent you the graphic novels but the DVD is yours to keep.
Looking at the pictures on Jobina's blog I'm glad I didn't get him an Optimus Prime...I figured chances were good he'd be getting an Optimus from someone.
Am I a total geek if I ask which Transformers he got? And does the 10 count the 4 I got him? Any doubles?
What can I say, I love Transformers too!

Jay: Two of the transformers are low grade knock offs but I included them anyway. He got Optimus Prime (current generation), Optimus Prime (Ape version), Bumblebee, Ratchet (current generation - he's really, realy cool). Plus he got Mirage, Deep Dive, Long Arm, and Overcast from you. Hey, thanks for the DVD!
Ah, he got Optimus Primal from Beast Wars as well, cool. I almost bought him a Rhinox but figured he really likes vehicles so I stuck with what I gave him.
