Would You Still Take Your Kids To See Him?

This image was created as a conversation starter by the United Church of Canada. The caption is "Would you still take your kids to see him?" If you get a bad feeling from this picture, what is it you don't like? I think it bring to an emotional level some of the inherent tension about the Christmas holiday for Christians . . .

May Light increase!

I would be more likely to take my children to go see him!! Except for the creepy reindeer in the background!

I would certainly be more likely to take my children to see him...and unlike Santa I would make my kids sit in his lap :)

I don't take my kids to see Santa, but JESUS I would take them to see multiple times!

Would I want my kids to spend time with Jesus? Certainly!

But.. he does seem a bit out of place there, don't you think? What would he say? What would you want your kids to say? I think I'd feel a bit awkward about the whole " This is what I want for Christmas.." thing.

How about if he looked non-Western, but more Middle Eastern (as He would have) and was not physically attractive (as the Bible says)?

So, I think this picture is just a bit awkward, all the way around.

Interesting!

Is it really Jesus, or someone dressed up as Jesus. If it is really Jesus, I would! If itès someone dressed up as Jesus, no way! Seems a little sacreligious to me!
