I'd Rather Be Paddling

This morning I woke up here in Winnipeg . . . and it was snowing - in May! Slightly depressing. Riker was sick so I stayed home from Church with the kids while Jobina went to lead singing. While surfing I came across this photo by Peter Bowers called "The Land of Ghosts." I really liked the mysteriousness and solitary feel of it. Enjoy!

If you'd like to check out more of his amazing work, check out his flickr page here.

this kinda reminds me of one of my night canoe trips. we started at 9 pm and paddled 15-20 km portaged 1km and there was this errie fog we couldn't see the shore unless we were right beside it, we were lucky the river was pretty narrow because we kept on running into the sides of it.
fun times.

Hey Mark - Where are you guys attending church?

It's this cute little Mormon Church on the corner near our house . . . (just kidding!). Actually we are currently attending Cornerstone Alliance Church in Windsor Park. Are you just curious? Hopefully you're not inquiring because you are concerned about my theological views (at least not all of them!).
