Hey Mark! Jobina tells me you didn't receive our gift yet! I just assumed it would get there in time. So sorry about that. Hope you get it before I get there or I may as well have hand delivered it!!
Happy Birthday.
Love,
Mom & Dad

Weird birthday... you have me intrigued.. do tell..

Is it the fact that you are yet one year older and it didn't really phase you?

Is it the fact that you still think birthday's are important, but nobody else thought so?

Or was it the fact that you get an ironman ice cream cake each year, but not this year... I know, not fair!

Hey Keith,
It was a weird birthday because it didn't feel like a birthday. Usually I book off the entire day and plan to do something I enjoy, hang out with friends/family, and basically just exercise self love. This birthday I forgot to book off so I had to work (I felt like such a loser for not booking off my own birthday that I didn't even tell anyone at work!). Also, since I was working Jobina also worked, doing some babysitting for a few hours. Oh, and I had to get up early to go to one of my rental properties to meet a potential handyman. I guess I realized that for me to enjoy my birthday I can't have other responsibilities. It's all about the self love! Just like I have to make time for others I have to make time to celebrate, well, me. So it wasn't a bad birthday . . . just weird. . .

Well, I got a birthday lunch, complete with singing and a cake. Just me and the family and the knowledge that I would have to go to work in a couple of hours!
