Organizational Health: Part Two

I was going to do a long post with my views but I'm not going to anymore. This is for two reasons:

1. My wife said she got bored with my first post and didn't read the end of it.
2. I think I only have part of the puzzle to this huge problem, and not enough to post a solution.

Yup, that's it. Have a good one!

Can blogs really get too long? I've been working on mine and can't seem to shorten it. I think I've got my answer! Shorten it or "someone" won't read it!

darn - I knew I should have commented before...I actually really enjoyed that post and I was looking forward to part two.

on the bright side - Jobina's feedback indicates that the organizations she's involved with are healthy! :)

Mom: Yes, posts can be too long! I find that the longer my posts are, the less comments and interaction I get. It's better to split them up if necessary. Of course, there are exceptions, one being if you rarely post. If you rarely post, people will be so happy that you posted, they will take the trouble to read your longer one. If you try to post everyday like I do, well, people are less patient. Just my thoughts!

Lee: Hey, thanks for the encouragement, it's nice to see that someone got something out it. When it comes to organizational health, I realized that it is more then just a culture of people telling each other the truth (in love) and non-gossip. To me these are a foundation though. For instance, in a church; if a pastor doesn't tell the truth (in love) to his congregants and the congregants can't share their feedback with the pastor, the church will eventually begin gossiping, and unhealth grows. There are other factors though that can make/break an organization as well and I feel I need to do more research before I can really hope to present the subject. These are my thoughts so far!
